Living in the moment

Many of us live in the past, we worry too much about tomorrow instead of living in the NOW. Live in the present moment, live as if it were your last.

I was chatting with my friend Jane yesterday, which has inspired me to write this today.  I would like to share the story of my friend. We met over 7 years ago through work. She is a mother to two great kids, a wife and has this amazing relationship with her mother that I truly admire. Jane is about family, she is outgoing, bubbly, positive and strong. No matter what obstacles she has faced she has always risen to the top.

Last year Jane was faced with the unexpected, she was diagnosed with cancer. She explained to me that in that very moment her life has changed and there are things in life that we have no control over.  When your mortality is questioned, life changes. You view things a lot differently.  She knew she had a battle ahead of her and it was not going to be easy. Jane fought this with dignity, strength and love.  Not only within herself but with the people around her. June she was cancer free.  Jane learned throughout her journey that it is so important to live in the moment. Take each day at a time and manifest positive thoughts. I believe this to be true. These are words of wisdom and words to live by.  Jane, I am sure you are reading this and I want you to know that you are beautiful inside and out. I admire your strength, your courage and your faith. You inspire me and I hope this inspires many more. I am so proud of you.

No matter what we are faced with in our lives, manifest the positive. Thinking positive attracts positive. View the glass half full, live with no regrets, be grateful, take care of your body, feed your soul and live your life to the fullest!

” Things are never as bad as they seem. The situations that cause us sorrow are the same ones that introduce us to the strength, power and wisdom that we truly are.”- Robin Sharma
